• Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures.
• Bilingual abilities, especially Spanish, to serve the local community.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs, histories, and recording symptoms.
• Assist providers during examinations by handling instruments and supplies.
• Manage patient records with confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
• Schedule appointments, follow up referrals, and coordinate communication between patients and staff.
• Perform basic laboratory tests, administer medications as directed, maintain equipment and supplies.
• All other duties as assigned.

Summary:

Humanitary Medical Center is hiring a full-time Medical Assistant. The Medical Assistant plays a critical role in supporting healthcare providers by ensuring smooth and efficient clinical operations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs, medical histories, and recording symptoms.
• Assist healthcare providers during examinations and minor procedures by handling instruments and supplies.
• Manage patient records accurately, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Schedule patient appointments, follow up on referrals, and coordinate communication between patients and medical staff.

Minimum Qualifications:
