Job summary

Signature Medical Group in East Bridgewater, MA is hiring a Medical Assistant for a Cardiology clinic. This full-time position requires 40 hours per week with days 1st shift, M-F, 8a-4:30p/5p. The MA will support patient care, clinic flow, and the care team.

Education includes a high school diploma or equivalent, with a preferred CMA program graduate. CPR/BLS certification is required or obtainable within six months of hire.

Qualifications

The Medical Assistant is responsible for a variety of patient care, technical, and clerical related functions. The Medical Assistant is responsible for the clinic patient flow by assisting members of the patient care team and providing a broad range of health care services. As a member of the patient care team, the Medical Assistant is also aware of the psychosocial needs of patients and families.

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Graduate of an approved Medical Assisting Program preferred. O ther education as approved by the DON.

Work Experience:

One (1) year of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant preferred butnot required.

Certifications & Licenses:

Certified as a CMA, RMA or CCMA or eligible for certification. Certification must be obtained within six (6) months of hire. CPR /BLS certification from AmericanHeart Association
