Job summary

Colorado Pain Care (CPC) in Denver is seeking a Medical Assistant for a Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule. This full-time outpatient role supports physicians with patient intake, coding, and procedure prep, offering a stable four-day workweek with no weekends or on-call duties.

You will room patients, obtain histories and vital signs, prepare rooms and equipment, and assist with examinations and in-office procedures while maintaining HIPAA compliance and delivering compassionate care in

What You’ll Do

• Room patients and obtain medical histories, vital signs, and test results
• Prepare exam and treatment rooms, equipment, and instruments
• Assist providers during examinations and in‑office procedures
• Administer medications under physician supervision
• Assist with pre‑ and post‑procedure patient care and transfers
• Schedule appointments, follow‑ups, and manage patient waitlists
• Check patients in, verify information, and maintain accurate medical records
• Manage medical supply inventory and stock exam rooms
• Provide compassionate support to patients and their families
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and clinic policies
• Complete required annual training
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum one (1) year of experience in a healthcare setting
• Medical Assistant certification preferred (or required based on clinic needs)
• Pain management, orthopedic, or spine experience is a plus, but not required
