Job summary

Colorado Pain Care is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinical and administrative tasks in a modern outpatient setting. You will room patients, take histories, prep rooms, assist physicians, and manage records, contributing to a smooth daily workflow.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of experience in a healthcare setting.
• Medical Assistant certification preferred (or required based on clinic needs).
• Pain management, orthopedic, or spine experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain medical histories, vital signs, and test results.
• Prepare exam and treatment rooms, equipment, and instruments.
• Assist providers during examinations and in-office procedures.
• Administer medications under physician supervision.
• Assist with pre- and post-procedure patient care and transfers.
• Schedule appointments, follow-ups, and manage patient waitlists.
• Check patients in, verify information, and maintain accurate medical records.
• Manage medical supply inventory and stock exam rooms.
• Provide compassionate support to patients and their families.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and clinic policies.
• Complete required annual training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
