Emerson Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians with patient preparation and both clinical and administrative tasks in a busy medical office.

This part-time role (8:00 am–4:30 pm, day shift) offers a pay range of $20.00–$26.00 hourly. Required education is a high school diploma; completion of a Medical Assistant course is preferred. Two to four years of experience is preferred; Microsoft Office skills and EMR familiarity (GE Centricity, MEDITECH) are valued.

• Two to four years of relevant work experience as a Medical Assistant in a medical office setting preferred.
• State Certification preferred but not required.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and moderate keyboarding skills required.
• Knowledge of GE Centricity and MEDITECH preferred for accessing and utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.

About this role

Reports to the Practice Manager and works under the direct supervision of the Physician(s). The Medical Assistant is responsible for patient preparation and providing clinical and administrative support to the Physician(s), ensuring efficient patient care and medical office operations.
