Job summary

Pinnacle Fertility is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patients on their fertility journey. You will assist with patient care, prepare for procedures, educate patients, and collaborate with physicians and nurses to ensure compassionate, high-quality care.

Located in Chicago, IL, this full-time, onsite position runs Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with duties spanning clinical support, EMR maintenance, and patient education.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant program strongly preferred.
  • Maintain current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and check-in patients, verify medical history, and update their information.
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
  • Perform diagnostic tasks such as taking vital signs, drawing blood, and administering injections.
  • Prepare examination rooms and ensure equipment and supplies are stocked and ready.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, including follow-ups and referrals.
  • Educate patients on treatment plans, medication protocols, and preventive care measures.
  • May assist with in-office procedures and provide critical support during egg retrievals and other outpatient procedures.
  • May prepare, maintain, and assist within the Operating Room (OR), ensuring sterile technique, proper equipment setup, and smooth clinical flow.
  • Adhere to infection control and safety standards to maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Assist with inventory management and clinical supply ordering.
  • Respond to patient inquiries and provide outstanding customer service.
  • Perform other duties and support special projects as assigned.

  • Hourly Rate: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour (final offers based on experience, skills, and qualifications).
