Job summary

Vascular Centers of America is seeking a Medical Assistant for our Chicago, IL vascular center. This full-time role supports physicians with exams, vitals, blood draws, and patient prep in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

You will greet patients, obtain histories, assist during procedures, and maintain accurate documentation while delivering compassionate, team-oriented care. Prior MA experience and phlebotomy skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience required.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Vascular or specialty clinic experience preferred.
• Experience with vitals, blood draws, and medication administration.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting.
• Professional, reliable, and team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Greet and room patients in a professional and friendly manner.
• Obtain vitals and medical history.
• Assist physicians during exams and procedures.
• Perform clinical tasks including EKGs, blood draws, and medication administration.
• Prepare exam rooms and equipment.
• Ensure patient comfort and address concerns.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation.
• Collaborate with providers and clinical staff for a smooth workflow.
• Front desk responsibilities when needed.

• 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM


• 40 hours per week
