Job summary

Sentara Cardiology Specialists in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a Medical Assistant-non-certified to support patient care and administrative tasks in a day shift role. The position runs Monday through Friday, 7:45a–4:45p, with occasional float as needed.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of clinical/clerical experience; phlebotomy experience is preferred, and high school diploma is required. Certification must be completed within nine months of employment, with BLS within 90 days

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care and administrative/clerical tasks as delegated by healthcare professionals.
