Jasper Family Health & Medicine in Jasper, AL is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support our providers in a fast-paced family medicine setting. This full-time, day-shift role emphasizes compassionate patient care, data gathering, and accurate documentation in our EMR system.

You will assist during exams, prepare patients for visits, coordinate tests, and handle calls with professional judgment. Growth opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package are available starting Day One.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program or 1+ year of relevant experience
• Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification
• Certification or registration from a recognized agency (e.g., CCMA, CMA, RMA, etc.) within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and Advanced Practice Providers during exams and procedures
• Prepare patients for visits and gather health data
• Document treatments and patient education in our electronic medical system
• Coordinate specialty testing and consultations
• Handle incoming/outgoing calls with professionalism and clinical judgment
• Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and Orlando/Baptist Health standards
