• Assist the dermatologist by scribing necessary information during patient consultations.

• Maintain cleanliness and ensure exam rooms are well-stocked.

• Schedule patient appointments efficiently.

Essential Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical assisting best practices.

• Proficiency in patient care, customer service, and medical assisting.

• Experience with electronic health records and medical terminology.

• Ability to perform insurance verification and measure blood pressure accurately.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 1+ years of recent experience in a medical office setting is preferred.

• Certification as a Medical Assistant or DERM Tech is a plus.

• Must maintain current state certifications, licenses, and/or registrations.

• Willingness to travel to other clinic locations as needed.

• Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record systems.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work both independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment

The role requires handling a fast-paced medical environment, attending to approximately 65 patients per day. Must be adaptable and thrive in a dynamic setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bethesda, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
