We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The Clinical Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring smooth operations within the clinic by assisting with patient care, maintaining medical records, and supporting administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to and from exam rooms, physician offices, and treatment rooms as needed.
• Record patient data prior to each physician visit, including vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and medication changes.
• Obtain all necessary patient records as required by the physician prior to treatment or procedures.
• Prepare and stock exam and treatment rooms.
• Assist physicians with exams and procedures upon request.
• Maintain all exam and treatment room disinfection protocols.
• Respond to patients calls as needed.
• Perform administrative duties such as typing, filing, faxing, chart preparation, and handling medical paperwork (e.g., FMLA, PFL) as requested by the supervisor or physician.
• Alert nurse or physician of abnormal vitals or any important information provided by the patient.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in handling medical records and patient information.
• Ability to accurately record vital signs and other patient data.
• Current BLS certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Hudson, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
