UCFS Healthcare in Eastern CT is looking for a Medical Assistant to support Primary Care Providers by preparing patients for examinations, performing assigned procedures, and recording vital signs and other care information.
The role requires strong communication with patients and providers and may involve processing data for WIC re-certifications, DPH lead reports, and other administrative tasks while maintaining infection control standards.

We are currently seeking a Medical Assistant to assist our Primary Care Providers with the preparation of patients for examinations, perform assigned procedures, and collect and document patient care information (vital signs, height, weight, hemoglobin, etc.) with strong communication between patients and providers. This role will process information needed for WIC re-certification, DPH lead reports, and other administrative functions as assigned. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for maintaining clinical areas based on infection control standards and patient flow expectations.
UCFS Hours of Operation: Open 8:00am - 7:00pm; Hours Vary By Day & Location
(We are also open on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month)
Expected Schedule: Part-Time, 20 hours/week; Monday from12:30pm - 4:30pm, Wednesday, & Friday from 8:30am - 5:00pm
