UCFS Healthcare seeks a Medical Assistant - Psychiatry to support psychiatric and primary care teams, preparing patients for examinations, collecting vital signs, and documenting care information. We are currently seeking a Medical Assistant - Psychiatry to support the psychiatric provider (and primary care providers as needed) with daily preparation of patients for examinations, perform assigned procedures, collect, and document patient care information (vital signs, height, weight, etc.). The Medical Assistant - Psychiatry will maintain their clinical areas based on infection control standards and patient flow expectations. As assigned, this role will process information needed for administrative functions. It is expected that the right candidate will sustain a line of communication with the psychiatric provider, primary care providers, and patients.
UCFS Hours of Operation: Open 8:00am - 7:00pm; Hours Vary By Day & Location
We are also open on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month
Expected Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours/week; Psychiatry (50%), Primary Care (50%)
Locations: Norwich (80%), Griswold (20%)
