Job summary

Methodist Medical Group is seeking a Medical Assistant NCT to support physicians and APPs within our North Texas ambulatory clinics. This role involves providing patient care and assisting with routine clinical procedures under physician supervision.

The position requires graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program, current National/Registered Medical Assistant Certification, BLS certification, a Texas NCT permit, and 1–3 years of professional experience.

Qualifications

High School Diploma required or equivalent.
Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program required.
National/Registered Medical Assistant Certification required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required, American Heart Association.
NCT permit through the Texas Medical Board required.
1-3 years of professional Medical Assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

To provide healthcare services to patients under the instruction of the Physician or APPs.
To perform routine clinical procedures as directed by the physician.
To participate in patient education.
To enter appropriate documentation into patients’ health records.

Job Summary:
