Schedule:

• Tuesday and Thursday - CVR Alexandria Clinic
• Wednesday - Float (Travel Stipend available)
• 6:45 AM - 5 PM
• Three 10-hour shifts

Job Responsibilities:

Responsibility I - General:

• Provide excellent patient care
• Collaborate with team members to meet center goals
• Train new staff as needed
• Respond to patient calls with feedback and answers
• Attend team meetings

Responsibility II – Consult-based Nursing:

• Display caring and courteous attitude
• Assess, document vital signs, educate, and counsel patients under provider direction
• Develop treatment strategies for venous insufficiency
• Measure lower extremities for compression stockings
• Photograph legs for medical documentation
• Generate referrals for continuity of care
• Maintain accurate records, with documentation within 24-48 hours

Responsibility III – Surgical Assisting:

• Assist with sterile and non-sterile procedures, including medication mixing
• Assist during procedures with patient positioning and instrument handling
• Dress procedural sites and assist with compression applications
• Follow infection control and safety policies
• Maintain and organize surgical supplies and equipment
• Keep accurate logs and perform routine checks
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience
• Reliable transportation
• Medical Assistant Certification preferred
• Ability to travel to clinics in Alexandria, Fairfax, Reston, Manassas, Leesburg, and Woodbridge
