Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Albuquerque is hiring Medical Assistant I or II to support providers and clinical teams in a patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification required.
• Completion of Presbyterian MA Advanced Skills Training within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform MA procedures under supervision within MA scope.
• Assist with procedures as determined by provider.
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens.
• Provide basic foot care as needed.
• May perform regulatory audits as designated by Clinic Manager.
• Assist with visit closure and documentation.
• Collaborate with care team to meet clinic needs efficiently.
• May perform scribe duties after PMG training.
