Responsibilities

As a Permanent Medical Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

• 1. Providing clinical assistance by performing routine tasks such as taking vitals, preparing patients for examinations, administering medication under the direction of a physician, and maintaining patient records.
• 2. Assisting in the management of patient care, including scheduling appointments, answering patient inquiries, and coordinating patient referrals.
• 3. Supporting the finance team by maintaining and updating financial records, processing invoices, and assisting with budget preparation.
• 4. Collaborating with the finance team to understand healthcare costs and contribute to financial planning and cost management.
• 5. Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and maintaining up-to-date knowledge on best practices in both the healthcare and finance industries.
• 6. Assisting in the preparation of reports and presentations for management, including financial reports and health outcomes data.

Qualifications

• 1. A certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited institution.
• 2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, with a solid understanding of clinical tasks including taking vitals and administering medication.
• 3. Experience in a finance role or a strong interest in finance. Experience in the finance industry is a plus.
• 4. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• 5. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with patients, healthcare professionals, and finance team members.
• 6. Proficiency in using healthcare software and financial systems.
