Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a Medical Assistance Program Technician (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Staff Leadership: Lead hiring, training, and guidance for technicians who review and compute statements of claim
• Work Oversight: Direct daily priorities, assign high-priority cases, and monitor workloads for timely completion
• Policy Guidance: Provide instruction on regulations, procedures, and claim standards related to estate and casualty recovery
• Data Review: Examine complex client encounter information and Pennsylvania Child Support Enforcement System (PACSES) records to ensure precise posting of credits, debits, and claim adjustments
• Interdepartmental Communication: Represent technician staff in discussions with supervisors and external partners
