Qualifications

• Medical Billing/Coding program certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process UB04 and HCFA-1500 claims to ensure accuracy and reimbursement.
• Submit claims timely and manage follow-up to maximize cash flow.
• Verify billing data accuracy and revise as needed.
• Understand third-party payer requirements (federal/state/commercial).
• Analyze daily aging and pursue resolutions for non-payments.
• Investigate denials and resolve issues to optimize payments.
• Manage claim status updates, appeals, and corrected claims.
