St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist I to manage billing and collections for hospital and professional services.

The role requires accurate data entry, timely claims submission, and proactive follow-up to maximize reimbursement. The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma (Medical Billing/Coding preferred), experience with third‑party billing, and strong Microsoft Office and web navigation skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with third party billing in a hospital or physician practice is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and web-based applications is required.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English clearly.

Responsabilités

• Process UB04 and HCFA-1500 claims through the billing system to ensure timely submission and reimbursement.
• Verify billing data accuracy and make revisions as needed.
• Analyze daily aging to determine follow-up for non-payments and delays.
• Investigate denials and take corrective actions to resolve accounts and maximize payments.
• Submit claims timely and monitor payer websites for status and appeals.
