Summit Therapeutics Inc. is seeking an Associate Director, Project Management - Medical Affairs to lead cross‑functional planning and execution for launch readiness in the Princeton, NJ or Palo Alto, CA area.

The role focuses on strategic project leadership, governance, and operational excellence within Medical Affairs, coordinating with field medical, communications, HEOR, and clinical operations to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of project management experience in biopharmaceuticals or life sciences.
• Experience leading Medical Affairs related projects (pre-commercial or early commercial).
• Ability to translate complex data into executive-ready insights.
• Familiarity with PMP, Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional medical planning and execution for launch readiness.
• Define and oversee medical workstreams for launches, indications, and lifecycle management.
• Establish dashboards, KPIs, and governance frameworks to monitor progress and risks.
• Collaborate with Field Medical, Medical Communications, Medical Information, HEOR, and Clinical Operations.
• Drive process optimization and SOP development within Medical Affairs operations.
• Oversee planning for scientific congresses, advisory boards, and medical education programs.
• Develop launch management dashboards and materials; coordinate sub-teams and work streams.
