Summit Therapeutics Inc. is seeking an Associate Director, Medical Affairs Project Management to drive operational excellence and lead cross-functional launch readiness efforts.

The role partners with Medical, Commercial, HEOR, and Clinical Operations to ensure timely, on-budget execution of medical affairs programs. Reporting to the VP of Project Management, you will manage governance, dashboards, and strategic reviews, while traveling 30-50% to support stakeholder engagements, abstracts,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MS, MBA, PharmD, PhD) or PMP preferred.
• Minimum of 5+ years of project management experience in biopharma or life sciences.
• Experience supporting medical affairs, pre-commercial or early commercial biotech/pharma preferred.
• Proven ability to translate complex data into executive-ready insights.
• Expertise in project management methodologies (PMP, Lean, Six Sigma, Agile).

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional medical planning and execution for launch readiness and evidence generation plans.
• Define medical workstreams for launches, indications, and lifecycle management.
• Establish dashboards, KPIs, and governance to monitor progress and mitigate risks.
• Coordinate with Field Medical, Medical Communications, HEOR, and Clinical Operations to ensure unified execution.
