Responsibilities

• Perform facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, dermaplaning and extractions.

• Educate patients on home care regimens.
• Maintain a clean and compliant work area and document in chart.

We are a busy Dermatology practice in Miami Beach, FLorida seeking a motivated, enthusiastic Medical Aesthetician to join our team.

Job Description

• Perform a variety of facial and body procedures intended to increase, improve or maintain the appearance and health of human skin. These are including but not limited to the following: Facials, Chemical Peels, Microdermabrasion, Dermaplaning and extractions.
• Performing consultations and recommend skin care products.
• Follow up with patients post-treatment to ensure expectations are met and/or exceeded.
• Having knowledge of cosmetic procedures performed in office and make appropriate referrals to our providers.
• Educating patients on skin care and offering custom treatment plans for their individual needs both in the office and a home care regimen as well.
• Maintaining a clean, neat and hygienic work area.
• Ensure accurate documentation in chart according to office protocols.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills in person and on the phone.
• Must be friendly, professional and well organized with attention to detail.
• Knowledgeable in different skin care treatments and products.

Job Type:

Experience:

• 1-2 years of experience in providing top quality skin care (preferred)

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

Certifications/Licenses:

• Must be licensed in state of Florida
• Must be Certified from an Accredited Aesthetic School
