Job summary

Dermatology & Advanced Skin Care in the Columbia area is seeking a skilled Medical Aesthetician. The role focuses on performing facial and body procedures to enhance skin health, including facials, peels, microdermabrasion, Hydrafacials and Diamond Glow.

You will consult with patients, recommend skincare, and follow up to ensure satisfaction. Candidates must have 5 years of Medical Aesthetician experience, be licensed in Maryland, and hold certification from an accredited aesthetic school.

Qualifications

• 5 years of Medical Aesthetician experience (Required).
• Must be licensed in Maryland.
• Must be Certified from an Accredited Aesthetic School.
• Availability: Monday–Friday 7:30am–5:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Perform facial and body procedures to improve skin appearance and health (facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, Hydrafacials, Diamond Glow).
• Conduct consultations and recommend skin care products.
• Follow up with patients post-treatment to ensure satisfaction.
• Educate patients on skin care and home care regimens.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic work area and document in charts per office protocols.

Job Description

Perform a variety of facial and body procedures intended to increase, improve or maintain the appearance and health of human skin. These are including but not limited to the following: Facials, Chemical Peels, Microdermabrasion, Hydrafacials, Diamond Glow treatments.

• Performing consultations and recommend skin care products.
• Follow up with patients post-treatment to ensure expectations are met and/or exceeded.
• Having knowledge of cosmetic procedures performed in office and make appropriate referrals to our providers.
• Educating patients on skin care and offering custom treatment plans for their individual needs both in the office and a home care regimen as well.
• Maintaining a clean, neat and hygienic work area.
• Ensure accurate documentation in chart according to office protocols

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills in person and on the phone.
• Must be friendly, professional and well organized with attention to detail.
• Knowledgeable in different skin care treatments and products

Job Type:

• Full-time: Must be available to work Monday – Friday between the hours of 7:30am – 5:30pm

Experience:

• 5 years of Medical Aesthetician experience (Required)

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

Certifications/Licenses:

• Must be licensed in Maryland
• Must be Certified from an Accredited Aesthetic School
