Gurwin Jewish Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a full-time Lead Medicaid Unit Coordinator to manage Medicaid eligibility, applications, and recertifications for residents, and to serve as the primary liaison with residents, families, and state agencies.

The role requires a High School Diploma and at least 3 years of SNF, DSS, or related experience, with responsibilities including preparing budgets, asset verifications, and timely filings to prevent funding disruptions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Medicaid application interviews with families and guide them through the process.
• Review 60 months of banking and other documents to determine Medicaid eligibility.
• Coordinate with case workers, hospitals, Medicaid, and attorneys to follow up on applications.
