UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Medicaid Specialist to join Optum's growing team. This role supports Medicaid operations, LTSS, and data reporting, with an emphasis on accurate data handling and proactive problem solving. The position allows remote work from Seattle while aligned to PST.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of Medicaid and LTSS experience, strong computer skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements in care delivery and outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of Medicaid experience.
• 2+ years of LTSS experience preferred.
• 1+ years of data entry experience required.
• Proficiency with Excel/Word and general computer skills.
• Experience with data analysis and reporting helpful.
• Must reside in Pacific Time Zone.

Responsibilities

• Engage with members, providers, and partners to support Medicaid initiatives.
• Maintain data accuracy and prepare reports.
• Analyze data and program metrics to identify improvements.
• Support workflow development and process improvements.
• Able to problem-solve proactively and manage multiple tasks.
