Job summary

The Ohio Department of Medicaid seeks an experienced healthcare leader to oversee the Medicaid School Program policy development. This Administrator will direct implementation, coordinate with interagency partners, and ensure student access to health-related services in schools.

Responsibilities include communicating with sister agencies, CMS, and managed care organizations, and reducing administrative burdens while improving program outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate core program in business, management or public administration, public health, health administration, social or behavioral science or public finance.
• 24 months exp in planning & administering health services program or health services project management.
• Or 24 months experience as a Medicaid Health Systems Administrator 1, or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Becoming a subject matter expert on the Medicaid School Program.
• Developing policies and directing implementation of the Medicaid School Program.
• Directing development of administrative rules, state plans, and interagency agreements.
• Coordinating with CMS and school districts to optimize program outcomes.
