Zusammenfassung

NYREACH in the Bronx seeks a Supervisor of Certified Application Counselors to lead the Medicaid recertification and coverage-continuity program across community and clinical partner sites. You will supervise CAC staff, ensure timely renewals, and maintain NYSOH certification while coordinating with health partners.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, CAC certification, and bilingual Spanish/English abilities.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree preferred; associate degree with supervisory experience considered.
• Current NYSOH Assistor/Navigator Certification required, or obtained within first weeks; pass exam (80%+) before client contact.
• Certified Application Counselor (CAC) certification required.
• Additional credentials in healthcare, social services, or care management are a plus.
• Prior supervisory training or management coursework preferred.

Aufgaben

• Lead and manage CAC team to ensure Medicaid recertification and enrollment across Bronx sites.
• Hire, onboard, train, and supervise CAC staff with regular reviews.
• Ensure all CAC staff obtain NYSOH certification and maintain it.
• Audit applications and renewals for accuracy and timeliness.
• Develop training on policy changes and system updates.
• Coordinate with clinical partners and LDSS.
• Oversee six-month renewal deadlines under HR1.
