Job summary

Maximus seeks a Senior Program Director for Medicaid Eligibility Operations in Topeka, KS. The role is onsite five days per week with relocation assistance available and is contingent on contract award.

You will own program performance, P&L, compliance, and service delivery for a large public sector program, engaging with senior stakeholders and multi-agency partners to drive results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 12+ years of progressive professional experience preferred.
• Experience managing Medicaid Eligibility Program Operations.
• Experience leading multi-agency call centers or CCaaS.
• CRM software experience required; strong client relationship skills.
• Must live in or near Topeka, KS and onsite five days per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise programs with governance, client relationships, and staffing accountability.
• Define program strategies and objectives aligned with client priorities.
• Manage program financials, budgeting, forecasting, and P&L.
• Establish operating framework, workforce strategy, and resource models.
• Develop policies and controls for compliance and audit readiness.
• Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and scalability.
• Lead and develop a multi-layered organization through coaching and succession planning.
• Partner with executives to allocate resources and execute strategic initiatives.
• Maintain client relationships and communicate performance and risks.
