Job summary

The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare, Division of Medicaid, seeks a Program Specialist - DHW based in Boise. The role focuses on reimbursement maintenance and project support for LTC, HCBS rate development, and stakeholder engagement across government and private health care sectors.

Candidates should be highly organized with strong analytical and communication skills, capable of coordinating across internal teams and external providers. Telework may be available after probation in Idaho.

Qualifications

• Experience developing operating procedures and recommending changes.
• Experience creating technical written materials such as policies, manuals or rules/regulations.
• Experience providing technical program assistance to staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide reimbursement maintenance and project support for LTC, Hospice, and HCBS rate development.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders via email, meetings, and calls.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and accounting principles; support policy changes related to healthcare billing and reimbursement.
