The Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) seeks a Government Operations Consultant III to shape Florida's Medicaid policy and program operations. You will research, develop, coordinate, and implement policy guidance under federal and state rules, and support budgetary and performance objectives.

Located in Tallahassee, this role requires strong writing, policy analysis, and stakeholder collaboration to improve health care quality and transparency for Florida’s residents.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience developing health care related policies.
• Two years of technical writing experience.
• Two years of experience managing complex assignments.
• Preference will be given to candidates with professional writing experience (e.g., policy development, grant writing/submissions, rule promulgation, research publications, white papers).

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain program policies and procedures under the Florida Medicaid program to ensure that programs operate in accordance with the goals and objectives of the Agency, federal and state laws, rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Perform substantial and technical reviews of policy documents to ensure consistency across the Bureau, producing work products that are accurate, complete, and of professional/publishable quality.
• Plan and coordinate public meetings in accordance with requisite technical and operational requirements.
• Coordinate and correspond with all relevant internal and external governing bodies and stakeholders as appropriate.
• Provide technical assistance to ensure consistency in service/program operation and conformity with goals and objectives of the Agency, federal and state laws, rules, regulations, and guidelines.
