Job summary

The Agency for Health Care Administration is seeking a Government Operations Consultant III to analyze, develop, implement, and monitor contracted Medicaid services for the Statewide Medicaid Managed Care Program. This on-site role is based in Tallahassee and requires up-to-date knowledge of Florida Medicaid requirements and federal laws.

The role functions as a Comprehensive Contract Manager and primary contact for assigned Medicaid contracts within the Bureau of Medicaid Plan Management

Qualifications

• 1 year of Managed Care Contract Management experience.
• 1 year of experience working with a Managed Care organization.
• Knowledge of federal and state managed care requirements.
• Ability to analyze data, develop reports, and make recommendations.
• Knowledge of state procurement laws and contract management policies/procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, develop, implement, and monitor contracted Medicaid services for the Statewide Medicaid Managed Care Program.
• Serve as Comprehensive Contract Manager and primary contact for assigned Medicaid contracts.
• Ensure managed care plans meet contractual requirements for timely service provision and provider payments.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Florida Medicaid program requirements, federal laws, and state regulations.
