The ideal candidate has 10+ years in health care policy, a bachelor’s degree, and strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in health care policy and analysis with emphasis in managed care/health insurance
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred
• Extensive knowledge of managed care and insurance reform
• Ability to translate complex policy into actionable strategies
• Strong written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead strategies to influence legislation and regulations.
• Manage regulatory and legislative projects with policy analysis.
• Represent BCBSA in meetings with policymakers.
• Build relationships with policymakers and external organizations.
• Draft and submit comments to Congress and federal agencies.
