Blue Cross Blue Shield Association (BCBSA) seeks a Federal Affairs Director to develop and execute strategies advancing legislative and regulatory priorities. You will lead advocacy with Congress, staff, officials, and external stakeholders to influence outcomes aligned with policy objectives.

You will represent BCBSA at official engagements and collaborate across the Association to shape advocacy strategies on issues impacting Plan business.

Qualificações

• BS in political science, government relations, public administration, public policy, law, business or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Preferred MS health policy, MBA, legislative affairs or political management.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute strategies to advance legislative and regulatory priorities.
• Cultivate relationships with Members of Congress, congressional staff, Administration officials and key stakeholders to influence outcomes.
• Represent the Association at official engagements and political events to shape advocacy strategies.
• Provide strategic guidance on congressional processes, developments, and political dynamics to inform enterprise-wide advocacy.
