The Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) is Florida's chief health policy and planning entity. This SES-level Administrator role leads the Behavioral Health Policy Unit within the Medicaid Program and shapes policy for health services, coverage, and fee schedules across the state.

We seek a creative, flexible leader who can drive multi-department collaboration, ensure compliance with federal/state rules, and deliver cost-effective, high-quality care for Florida's residents.

Qualifications

• Three years of healthcare administration experience.
• Two years of supervisory experience.
• Two years of experience with complex project management.
• Two years of experience developing healthcare policies.
• Lead or assist on major research projects.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate planning and execution of Behavioral Health Policy Unit activities.
• Develop and update Medicaid handbooks, policies, and fee schedules.
• Oversee policy development for behavioral health and facilities under Medicaid.
• Communicate with and supervise staff; hire, transfer, and discipline as needed.
• Represent the Agency in meetings, hearings, and external projects.
