Job summary

MSYS Inc. seeks an Infrastructure Solutions Architect to lead the technical implementation of a new Fiscal Agent Services module within the Medicaid Enterprise System (MES).

You will coordinate with business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to ensure solutions meet CMS guidelines, MITA maturity goals, and enterprise standards. You will guide architecture, assess integrations with modules like Eligibility, Enrollment, Provider Services, and Data Warehousing, and set security and cloud

Qualifications

• Proficiency in architectural modeling, data management concepts, and security best practices.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience collaborating with vendors, system integrators, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or equivalent) and MES-related contexts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and guide technical implementation of a new MES module as part of the Medicaid Enterprise System (MES).
• Ensure solutions align with CMS guidelines, MITA maturity goals, interoperability standards, and federal modularity requirements.
• Lead architectural reviews, assess solution implementation, and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and policies.
• Evaluate system integration needs across modules such as Eligibility and Enrollment, Provider Services, Third-Party Liability, Pharmacy, and Data Warehousing.
• Provide architectural guidance for interfaces, data exchange standards, APIs, security models, and cloud adoption strategies.
• Develop architectural artifacts such as logical and physical diagrams, data flow documentation, integration patterns, and roadmaps.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with NIST, HIPAA, state security policies, and other controls.
• Participate in governance, review change requests, and guide teams through the solution lifecycle.
