Qualifications

• Strong architectural modeling and data management knowledge.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience collaborating with vendors, SI partners, and cross-functional teams.
• Proven experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
• Understanding of MITA, federal interoperability requirements.
• Knowledge of APIs, data formats (JSON/XML), and healthcare standards.
• Experience with databases, ETL tools, and legacy systems.
• Expertise in enterprise integration and modular design.
• Experience with MMIS or MES is highly desirable.
• Public sector consulting or state government experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee technical implementation of the MES FAS module within Medicaid.
• Ensure solutions align with CMS guidelines, MITA goals, and enterprise policies.
• Lead architectural reviews and assess solution implementations.
• Guide system integration across modules like Eligibility, Provider Services, and Data Warehousing.
• Provide guidance on interfaces, data exchange, security models, and cloud adoption.
• Develop architectural artifacts, data flows, integration patterns, and roadmaps.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity to ensure compliance with HIPAA and NIST controls.
• Participate in governance processes and change control.
• Provide leadership to project teams and external partners throughout the lifecycle.
