Job summary

The State of Ohio, through the Ohio Department of Medicaid, is seeking a Health Systems Specialist in Columbus to support managed care operations. You will analyze system issues, coordinate with vendors, and ensure Medicaid policy is reflected in system workflows.

The role requires a health administration background, a valid nursing license or equivalent qualifications, and experience with Medicaid systems. This is a full-time, on-site position at 50 West Town Street, Columbus.

Qualifications

• Current and valid nursing license as issued by Ohio Board of Nursing.
• 24 months experience as Medicaid Health Systems Analyst or related subject area.

Responsibilities

• Analyze reported system problems affecting Medicaid eligibility workflows.
• Evaluate how changes impact eligibility determinations and data sharing.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure policy alignment in system operations.
• Prepare reports and status updates for leadership.
