Job summary

The Delaware County Board of Developmental Disabilities (DCBDD) seeks a Medicaid and Funding Supervisor to lead waiver and local funding operations, ensuring accurate administration, fiscal analysis, and timely payments. You will supervise Assessment and Funding Specialists and collaborate with internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a related field with five years of Medicaid Waiver experience; a master’s degree with three years supervisory preferred;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field and five (5) years of experience with Medicaid Waiver services.
• Master’s Degree in related field and three (3) years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Equivalent combination of experience and education acceptable.
• Must possess a valid State of Ohio Driver's License and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the agency Medicaid Manager; performs all duties and functions related to Medicaid management including waiver projections, match calculations, analysis, and reconciliation functions.
• Supervises, directs, and evaluates the work of Assessment Specialists and Funding Specialists as assigned.
• Liaises with SSA Supervisors, Service & Support Administrators, and providers for PAWS, billing, revisions, and enrollments related to waiver functions.
• Develops and maintains knowledge of Ohio Administrative Code, Ohio Revised Code, and waiver amendments related to waiver administration.
• Researches payment status for waiver services and coordinates corrections as needed.
• Coordinates with Delaware County Job and Family Services regarding waiver-related eligibility functions.
• Provides fiscal analysis and reports to the Superintendent as requested.
• Oversees PAWS and local funding authorizations; ensures timely submission to DODD for processing.
• Manages budgeted waivers and locally funded accounts to optimize utilization and recoup unused funds.
