Zusammenfassung

Myers & Stauffer is seeking a Senior Manager to join our Rate Setting and Federal Compliance engagement team. Lead design, modeling, and documentation of Medicaid payment arrangements for state Medicaid agency clients, including state directed payments and upper payment limit demonstrations.

In this role you’ll translate federal regulation and state policy into workable payment methodologies, set defensible assumptions, and review team output with a focus on CMS compliance and audit readiness.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Five or more years of Medicaid or healthcare reimbursement experience.
• Experience preparing or reviewing State Plan Amendments or CMS responses.
• Proficiency with SQL, Alteryx, PowerBI or similar tools.

Aufgaben

• Lead design, calculation, and documentation of Medicaid payment methodologies.
• Model upper payment limit demonstrations and directed payments.
• Explain technical results to state staff and stakeholders.
• Manage engagement timelines, budgets, and client communication.
• Mentor analysts and oversee accuracy of analyses.
• Draft CMS requests, preprints, and methodology descriptions.
