Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, health policy, health care administration, health information, criminal justice or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Well organized with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Able to multi-task and prioritize deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Work with a multi-disciplinary team of analysts and clinical staff to analyze health-related and financial information.
• Verify data integrity and perform statistical calculations to assess compliance with Federal regulations and Medicaid policies.
• Conduct research to determine compliance with Medicaid or other government program regulations.
• Assist with performing analyses relating to Medicaid engagements.
• Prepare written documents supporting professional decisions and tasks involving health care provider quality incentive programs.
• Review federal and state Medicaid policies and regulations relating to health care reimbursement and quality incentive programs.
• Demonstrate excellence in communication, data gathering, analysis, reporting, and process improvement.
• Maintain security and confidentiality of protected health information.
• Maintain thorough electronic documentation.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
