ReDiscover, a nonprofit community mental health center, seeks a Medicaid Enrollment Specialist in Missouri to support adult and family services. The position involves managing a client caseload, guiding Medicaid applications, and connecting individuals to community resources.

The role supports patients across Lee's Summit and Kansas City campuses. Applicants should have at least a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years in mental health, with strong customer service, communication, and Medicaid

Formación

• Maintain and interact with a caseload of clients with diverse characteristics in-person or by phone.
• Facilitate each client’s application for Medicaid.
• Investigate resources to gain access and connect clients to programs.
• Help remove barriers by referring to education or work programs.
• Document interactions in electronic medical records and coordinate care.
• Educate clients on Medicaid benefits, requirements, and processes.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain caseload and assist clients in Medicaid applications.
• Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for behavioral health services.
• Collaborate with internal team to ensure access to services.
• Assist families with Medicaid documentation and forms.
