Horan Hiring Solutions, LLC is partnering with a Gulf South client to hire a Medicaid Eligibility Project Manager responsible for steering complex eligibility initiatives from plan to go-live in the Mississippi/Jackson area.

You will lead integrated plans across state agencies, vendors, and delivery teams, manage RAID risks, coordinate with CMS/state requirements, and ensure timely readiness, testing, and go-live while communicating progress to executives.

Competenze

• 5+ years of project management experience in large, multi-stakeholder technology or policy implementations.
• 3+ years of Medicaid eligibility, enrollment, or public assistance program experience.
• Experience with state agencies, vendors, and federal requirements.
• Strong planning, RAID management, and reporting skills using MS Project, Smartsheet, or Jira.
• Experience with Agile, waterfall, and hybrid delivery approaches.
• Clear, calm communication with executives, policy experts, and technical teams.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Mansioni

• Plan and manage Medicaid eligibility and enrollment projects, including system changes and operational improvements.
• Build and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, and milestones across state agencies, vendors, and delivery teams.
• Manage risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, and decisions via RAID logs.
• Lead implementation of new federal and state requirements within deadlines, including H.R. 1 provisions.
• Coordinate with eligibility system vendors, managed care organizations, and adjacent programs like SNAP/MMIS.
• Facilitate status meetings, steering committees, and working sessions; document decisions and actions.
• Prepare clear status reports and executive briefings on progress, risks, and decisions needed.
• Manage scope, change requests, and budget against contract and funding requirements.
• Support testing, readiness, training, and go-live planning for eligibility staff and members.
