Job summary

Cloud and Things is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to support our NYS Medicaid Data Warehouse (MDW) initiatives. You will analyze Medicaid claims and encounter data, run complex SQL queries, and extract actionable insights for stakeholders.

You will build dashboards in Tableau, ensure data integrity across sources, and collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams to translate data into recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent in a related field.
• 4+ years of NYS Medicaid Data Warehouse (MDW) experience.
• 4+ years of healthcare claims and encounter data analysis.
• Advanced SQL skills to write and optimize large queries.
• Experience building dashboards with Tableau or similar BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Query and analyze Medicaid claims and encounter data from the MDW.
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries to extract data.
• Interpret data trends, anomalies, and key metrics to inform decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to present data-driven insights.
• Create and maintain Tableau dashboards to display findings.
• Ensure data integrity across multiple sources.
• Maintain documentation of queries, processes, and analyses.
