This role emphasizes building scalable SQL infrastructure, data governance, and collaboration with policy stakeholders to deliver actionable insights and front-end visualizations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of advanced SQL development on large healthcare/claims datasets.
• Experience transforming Medicaid or health data into analysis-ready datasets.
• Strong understanding of data quality, governance, and reproducible workflows.
• Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical policy stakeholders.
• Professional experience with Git/GitHub and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Architect complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data pipelines for Medicaid datasets.
• Develop automated ETL workflows to ensure data readiness and quality.
• Perform data governance tasks and maintain version-controlled codebase.
• Create metrics to measure quality improvements and health equity outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate data into dashboards and narratives.
