Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) in Florida seeks a Government Operations Consultant III to enhance the delivery of health care through the Medicaid program. The role focuses on analyzing and managing contracts within the PMO, ensuring compliance with Medicaid requirements and timely provision of services.

Ideal candidates will have experience in managed care contract management and a solid understanding of state and federal rules.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of Managed Care Contract Management experience.
• One (1) year of experience working with a Managed Care organization.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, develop, implement, coordinate and/or monitor contracted medical assistance and long-term care services for the Statewide Medicaid Managed Care Program (SMMC) within the Bureau of Plan Management.
• Serve as Comprehensive Contract Manager and lead point of contact for assigned Medicaid contract.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Florida Medicaid program, Federal laws and regulations, state statutes and rules.
