Job summary

Beacon Hill in New York City–Rockefeller Center is seeking a Temporary to Permanent Medicaid Coordinator to join their team. The role is hybrid with remote Fridays, hours 9am-5pm, offering a great opportunity to apply your Medicaid experience in a growing legal team.

Responsibilities include preparing Medicaid documentation, managing case notes, coordinating with DSS and financial institutions, and supporting attorneys to resolve issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• At least two plus years of Medicaid experience.
• Strong knowledge of MS Word, Excel & Outlook.
• Team player in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Meet with Manager or Assistant Manager of the Medicaid Department to discuss cases.
• Review referral documentation and prepare Medicaid application forms and other docs (DOH, MAP, IRS, SSA, HIPAA).
• Prepare Medicaid packages and organize documents, photocopy/scan to NetDoc.
• Prepare FedEx labels and drop packages at FedEx.
• Update and review notes on WebAR.
• Enter time on TABS; keep clients updated via email.
• Set calendar reminders to follow up with DSS.
• Work with attorneys to resolve case issues.
