Allied Caregivers is seeking an organized Medicaid Specialist to manage Medicaid administration, medical billing, EVV, and compliance within a caregiving agency. Qualifications

• Experience with medical billing and claims processing is required.
• Experience with Medicaid billing and healthcare claims.
• Experience with EVV systems and shift verification.
• Experience in home care, healthcare administration, medical billing, Medicaid, or a related field.
• Familiarity with audits, licensing, regulatory compliance, and healthcare documentation.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Comfortable using computers and administrative systems.
• Ability to review information, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues independently.
• Clear communication and consistent follow-through.
• Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Medicaid administrative processes and requirements
• Perform medical billing and claims processing, including reviewing rejected claims, discrepancies, missing information, and documentation issues
• Monitor Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) and address missed punches, exceptions, and shift discrepancies
• Coordinate verified hours and documentation with payroll
• Maintain accurate Medicaid, client, caregiver, and billing records
• Monitor licensing, regulatory, and compliance requirements, including renewals and required documentation
• Assist with internal and external audits by gathering records, reviewing documentation, and responding to requests
• Identify and address compliance or administrative issues
• Maintain confidentiality of client, caregiver, payroll, and agency information
