Myers and Stauffer is seeking a detail-oriented auditor to perform reviews of Medicaid provider cost reports and analyze healthcare provider financial information. The role includes reimbursement calculations, on-site and desk audits, and documenting findings according to Medicaid regulations and AICPA standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in accounting (Master's preferred) with CPA/CMA status or candidacy, and possesses strong analytical, communication, and multi-tasking

• CPA or CPA candidate status preferred.
• Experience in health care auditing and data analysis is valued.

Responsibilities

• Review Medicaid provider cost reports and health care provider financial information.
• Perform reimbursement calculations and prepare supporting documentation.
• Conduct desk reviews, on-site audits, and risk assessments.
• Document findings with working papers and reports compliant with Medicaid and AICPA standards.
• Research relevant federal and state policies before audits.
• Demonstrate professional communication, data gathering, and process improvement.
