You will collaborate with the Nursing Home Administrator, business office staff, and the Centralized Billing Office, support census and month-end activities, and handle patient trust funds and refunds.

Qualifications

• Requires strong Medicaid experience.
• May float between centers in the Eastern Panhandle Pod.
• Collaborates with Nursing Home Administrator and business office staff.
• Experience with billing and accounts receivable processes.
• Completes Medical Assistance application tasks.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely according to policy and procedures.
• Float between centers in the Eastern Panhandle Pod as needed.
• Collaborate with the Nursing Home Administrator, business office, nursing center staff, and Centralized Billing Office.
• Assist with census, billing, month-end activities, collections, refunds and patient/resident trust fund transactions.
• Complete Medical Assistance application tasks.
• Coordinate patient/resident ancillary charges and billing entries.
• Review patient/resident admission files for accuracy.
